On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, the latest BGTW Members’ Skills Development Sessions were hosted by Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport in the panoramic Blue Sky Suite. With sweeping views of jets coming and going across the runway, it was quite the backdrop for an afternoon of learning.

Attendees enjoyed coffee and cakes laid on by our kind hosts and two educational sessions focused on AI. The first, An Introduction to AI, was led by Kim Callender, founder of Ella, named Travel Startup of the Year at the 2024 Bessie Awards, and a former Google product leader. The second session, AI, SEO and GEO – Understanding how changes to search will change the publishing landscape, was delivered by Daniel James Clarke (BGTW Joint Chair, Writer & Blogger) and Colin Carter (Co-founder & Tech Lead, Weather2Travel). Members can watch the recap recordings via the members’ area of the website.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the team at Hyatt Place London Heathrow (including the Guild’s long-term friend, Esther Bell) for hosting this important event.
