In spring 2026, a small group of BGTW members visited Coastal Lithuania, linked to the seasonal direct London-Palanga flight. The itinerary focused on Lithuania away from Vilnius, taking in stately manors and amber museums, alongside a wellness and coastal focus along the Curonian Spit.
Some of the resulting coverage includes:
- Just back from: Lithuania – Wanderlust (8-page print feature) by Juliet Rix
- ‘Coolcation’ to the Baltic Amber Coast – Western Morning News and Western Daily Press (DPS print) by Martin Hesp
- Summer on the Baltic: a laidback coastal adventure in Lithuania – The Guardian (online and print) by Sarah Rodrigues
- I’ve been to 28 European countries, but nowhere compares to this little-known coast – Metro (online and print) by Lucy Daltroff
- Coolcation in Coastal Lithuania – Travel Begins at 40 by Mark Bibby Jackson
- The Best Medicine is Already Inside Us: What Travelling to Lithuania Taught Me about Well-being – Wellbeing (syndicated to MSN and Apple News) by Shebs Alom
Thank you to Angelina Ivanova of Visit Neringa for their support in organising this trip.
