Add Profile Images
Upload an image of yourself. This should be good quality but ideally under 2meg in filesize and in web format (jpg, gif or png files)
Add Membership Card Image
Upload an image to be used on your membership card. This should be a large print-quality image between 1meg and 3meg in size. A passport style image is ideal.
This will make up your biography that appears online. If you wish, you may provide
a more detailed biography than is possible in the Yearbook, as well as including web or video links.
You may choose up to 10 subjects IN TOTAL from the Travel Categories, Regions and Skills dropdown menus. These subjects will populate the index of member's specialities that appears at the centre of the Yearbook.
These should be awards not nominations, and relate specifically to travel writing/photography/broadcasting; include 'Runner-up' only if it is an official designated category
Use the following style: 'BGTW Award, Best Destination Feature (under 850 words)' (ie: name of awarding body, title of award). The year of the award must be provided

Books - published within the last year or scheduled for publication within the next year. A title without an ISBN probably doesn't qualify for the book category.
Magazine/newspaper articles, online material, broadcast work, photography published/broadcast in the last year. The photography category covers photo libraries/agencies offering images for sale during that period.

not fewer than 12 articles published in the past 12 months, or
at least one published book, written, updated or edited within the 12 months preceding the date of application for membership, or a letter from the employer confirming the applicant's employment in a staff writer or editorial capacity. For photographers, the illustration of
at least one major work (i.e. a book) published in the last 12 months, or
not fewer than 12 feature articles published in the last 12 months, or
not fewer than 40 pictures published in miscellaneous sources or records of payment from a picture library clearly indicating their level of sales within the last 12 months.
production of tapes of travel programmes for a total of at least 60 minutes of radio programming or a television showreel, of which the applicant was the reporter, presenter or producer within the last 12 months.
