Top German award for Andy Jarosz

An article on Baltic Germany has won Guild member Andy Jarosz top prize in this year’s Germany Travel Writers’ Awards. The piece was published in National Geographic Magazine. The competition is organised annually by the German National Tourist Office. The results were announced at a lunch co-sponsored by the state of Brandenberg. Klaus Lohmann, the GNTGO’s UK director, said: “The enormous choice for travel in Germany is reflected not only in the entries for the awards this year, but throughout the year in general, with increasing amounts of high quality features published by the UK’s talented travel journalists.
