I’m a long-time travel editor and writer, with roles including Commissioning Editor at Lonely Planet, Editor at Rome2rio and Deputy Editor at BBC Travel. I’m currently Senior Journalist at BBC Travel, where I commission, write and edit content for the site and am always looking for strong freelancers to work with. I was the driving force behind BBC Travel’s first long-form travel narrative column, which was awarded two Lowell Thomas Awards, and the creative lead and editor of BBC’s ground-breaking Travel Pioneer series, for which I won a silver Lowell Thomas. I also just received a Webby Honouree in the Best Individual Editorial Feature category for my story on the Great Barrier Reef. I’m a British citizen, currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I’m also a member of the ASTW.
