Biography
Estella writes about inspiring places on our planet and the people safeguarding them – stories about wildlife, nature, heritage, craft and culinary culture. The quest for a good story has taken her from Kenya's high-altitude lakes to Cornwall's temperate rainforest, from sampling climate-resilient crops with an Arizonan ethno-biologist to spear-fishing for invasive lionfish in the Dutch Antilles.Her writing has been published in The Times, Conde Nast Traveller, The Telegraph, BA High Life, Suitcase, Food & Travel, The Spectator and National Geographic Traveller, among other titles. Before going freelance, Estella held in-house editorial roles at travel publisher Ink Global and trends intelligence platform Stylus.
