Biography

Nominated for several prestigious travel writing awards, I specialize in African destinations and I have spent a total of over two years travelling across the continent across 40 different nations, many on multiple occasions. This has largely been by locally-available transport. A finalist of the Travel Blog Post of the Year award at the guild’s Members’ Excellence Awards 2023, I have bylines in the likes of BBC Travel, The i, Travel Africa, Independent, Fodor's and Daily Mail. I am also a writer for Bradt guides.
