Biography

I specialise in writing narrative travel features involving culture, heritage or history, especially in Europe and Scandinavia. I am also a university lecturer in travel and nature writing, and author of The Travel Writer's Way (Bradt), the go-to manual for aspiring travel writers. Formerly I was the Editor of Wexas Traveller magazine. I am available to write features, commission and edit, or teach courses.
