Juliet Rix is an award-winning journalist working for the Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Wanderlust, Studio International (art), BBC Radio and others. She is the author of 'London's Statues of Women' (London Guides from Left Field, Safe Haven Books, 2025) and 'Malta and Gozo' (Bradt Guides, 5th edition 2025). Starting her career at the BBC, she was the correspondent in Indonesia for two years before returning to her hometown, London, and setting into freelance life. Juliet has written on a very diverse range of activities, people and places, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, Norfolk to North Korea.
