Born in Nairobi, educated in India and the UK with economics degree; photographer since 1992, mainly books and magazines; working on long-term project on pilgrimage using audio and photography; prize-winner: Travel Photographer of the Year 2004, 2006 and 2009; recently started teaching travel photography workshops.
