Lucy Dodsworth

Biography

Lucy is travel blogger and guidebook author based in Cheltenham, UK. With a background as an editor and proofreader, she runs two travel blogs: On the Luce (focusing on low-impact car-free and train travel) and Explore the Cotswolds (focusing on the Cotswolds region, with a strong focus on public transport).

Lucy is the author of 'Auld and New in Edinburgh' (Hardie Grant) – winner of the BGTW Guidebook of the Year award 2024 – and chapter author for 'Lonely Planet Experience Great Britain'.

She has an MSc in Tourism, Heritage and Sustainability from the University of Glasgow and has spoken on various tourism issues for BBC local and national radio.
