Biography

A highly experienced writer and editor, Melanie has spent twenty years as a freelance travel journalist. With her family in tow, she’s wandered the world, capturing the smallest details in the biggest settings and bringing far shores to life in print and online. Her work has appeared within numerous influential platforms and publications, from the BBC to The Times.

Alongside this, Melanie has joined forces with award-winning brand teams working with their content creators to refresh, expand and boost their copy and web content. She is a regular contributing editor for luxury travel website Secret Trips and has worked extensively with B Corp bespoke travel brand, Audley Travel.

Before all of the above, she worked agency side and led communication campaigns for some of the UK’s leading travel brands, including Virgin Limited Edition and Center Parcs. She has an impressive background in driving brand growth through devising and implementing strategic communication plans.
