Biography :
Nicky Gardner served as editor of hidden europe magazine for 20 years until mid-2023. A dedicated slow traveller who writes about culture and communities across Europe (and sometimes ever further afield), Nicky believes that well-woven words can make our world a better place. No glitz, no gloss.... this is travel writing where the focus is on culture and community, with strong underpinning commitment to social change. Hasta la victoria siempre!

Nicky lives in Berlin where she helps run an editorial bureau which handles text and images for a webwise world.
