Biography

Nori Jemil is an award-winning freelance travel photojournalist who works across a range of publications, including National Geographic Traveller (UK), Adventure.com, AFAR, Travel Weekly, Oceanographic, Lonely Planet, The Guardian and Wanderlust. A co-author for Fodor's Travel's Guide to London, it was her own book with Bradt Guides – The Travel Photographer’s Way – that was shortlisted for an Edward Stanford Travel Writing Award. An expedition photography guide for many years and an experienced public speaker, Nori moderates the National Geographic Masterclasses and is a 2024 Intrepid Diversifying the Travel Media mentor.
