Biography
I've been poring over maps since before I could read them and working in travel media since 2011, with my first publications in the Bradt Guide to Somaliland. Since then I have authored or updated more than a dozen guidebooks with Bradt Travel Guides and Lonely Planet, as well as working as an adventure guide with Lupine Travel and penning features in travel media such as The Sunday Times, Wanderlust, The Telegraph, The i Paper and others – with articles about Greenland, Senegal, Nigeria, Mauritania, Guinea-Bissau and more. Recently my focus has frequently been on West Africa and Greenland, though my travel experience extends to more than 100 countries worldwide, and I have also arranged guided travel to dozens of countries for private clients.Mini-Portfolio Work Examples
