Biography
I'm a freelance food, drink and travel journalist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My "day job" is reviewing Scottish restaurants for local culture magazine The List in Edinburgh. I'm the co-author of the DK guidebook to Albania and have written extensively on the Balkans for titles like Wizz Air magazine, iNews, The Guardian and Weather2Travel. Japan is another of my specialisms, having visited 10+ times and I've completed large-scale commercial content projects on Japan for Wanderlust magazine and editorial pieces for Jetsetter and Qantas in-flight mag.
