Based permanently in Helsinki, Finland, I have contributed stories, guides and photos most recently to thisisfinland.fi, Finnair Blue Wings Stories, Hidden Compass, Adventure.com,The Tonic Magazine, The Independent, BBC Travel, Sustainable Journeys, and Fodor's. I've also written and co-authored, and contributed photos to a variety of books about Finland and the Baltic region. My book about Finland, ’Happy Land – finding the inner Finn’, will be published by Eye Books in the UK in January 2026.
