Biography
Based permanently in Helsinki, Finland, I have contributed stories, guides and photos to Hidden Compass, The Tonic Magazine, The Independent, The iPaper, BBC Travel, Telegraph.co.uk, Sustainable Journeys, Adventure.com, and Fodor's, amongst many others. My story on Hidden Compass, The Lost Cathedrals of Industry, was winner of the Traverse Creator Storytelling award in 2025. I've written, co-authored, and contributed photos to a variety of books about Finland and the Baltic region, and I've won many awards for my travel photography.
