Biography

I am an award-winning travel journalist based in London, with a passion to tell stories about how we can make a positive impact in choosing how we travel. My work delves into themes of responsible tourism with a focus on women, the cultural roots of food and culinary history, astrotourism and sustainable journeys, particularly those made by train.

I'm a regular contributor to the Independent, and have also written for adventure.com, BBC Sky at Night Magazine, Escapism Magazine, iPaper, and New Zealand Herald.

In 2025, I won the Inspire Global Newspaper Feature of the Year Award (Africa and Indian Ocean), the Visit USA Media Award for Rising Star and the Freelancing for Journalists Award for Early Career Journalist.
