Sue Watt wins at Atta Media Awards

The winners of the 2019 Atta Media Awards were announced at the Campfire Tales event on the 26th June and BGTW member Sue Watt won the Best Wildlife & Nature Feature (Newspaper) award for her piece Zimbabwe: From Victoria Falls to the big five – all aboard the safari express published in The Times.

TV personality and motorbike-enthusiast, Charley Boorman, attended the awards as guest speaker to talk to the audience about his travels through Africa. This year the awards were a celebration of all things African, educating readers on the geography, flora, fauna and culture.
