Brian has been a journalist for the past 35 years in Australia. For the past 12 years he has been involved in travel writing. He edited Escape - Australia's largest travel section with a readership of 5 million plus per week - for just over five years and worked as editor-in-chief of Flight Centre for 12 months before returning to News Corp to run its Content Marketing Division, a position Brian left in July to move to Aberdeen. Currently freelancing in travel for the Sydney Morning Herald, Escape, Explore and Out & About with Kids. In previous years he has been a judge for many Australian Society of Travel Writer Awards.
