Biography :
In my nine-year career as a journalist I've written travel articles for titles such as Conde Nast Traveller, The Independent, Culture Trip, N by Norwegian, Cathay Pacific's in-flight magazine Discover, Suitcase and various others. I've also commissioned and edited travel features for Time Out Everywhere, the title's global travel platform. I've been freelance for the past five years – with a fairly large chunk of that working full-time at Time Out, until May this year, when I've been exploring other opportunities (such as those listed above). My favourite trips are mostly city-based adventures – from eating my way around Copenhagen to exploring New York's lesser-known boroughs like Queens via its many international street food trucks. But that's not to say I don't love visiting far-flung, under-the-radar destinations too, and exploring Bhutan's mystical temples and mountains, always with a spiritual story on the side, will always be up there as one of my greatest trips of all time.
