Biography :
Clodagh Kinsella is an Antwerp-based freelance travel and culture writer with bylines in BBC Travel, The Independent and Condé Nast Traveler amongst other publications. A regular contributor to on-board magazines, she has almost a decade's experience writing long-form features, city guides and columns, and has consulted for leading lifestyle and travel brands as the editor-at-large of Gogo City Guides. An avid hiker drawn to maligned, politically sensitive or simply little known places, she has helped to put travel initiatives on the radar of national tourist boards, been retweeted by Belgian mayors, and broadcast for the BBC about brushes with African royals. She is currently pounding the cobbles as she updates the Bradt guide to Flanders, due for release in October 2019. She believes that only boring people think that Belgium is boring.
