With an MA in English Literature from Queen Mary University of London, Jane Egginton was a winner in The Observer newspaper’s Young Travel Writer of the Year award in 1993. Jane is the author of over 40 travel books published by The Sunday Times, Reader's Digest and Michelin, as well as a contributor to British broadsheets, In the Moment and Yoga Magazine. With over 20 years’ experience writing and editing travel articles and guides for Insight, AA, Reader's Digest, Berlitz, Thomas Cook, Footprint, DK. Jane has written about travel for high-profile websites and print media such as The Guardian, Sunday Times and The Observer and has specialist knowledge of yoga, wellbeing, food, drink, Brazil and Britain. Jane worked as the author of the CityPack San Francisco, 2019 and is founder and director of Eat Drink Travel online magazine.
