Kate MacWhannel is the author of three travel guidebooks: The Greenwood Guide to accommodation in South Africa, Time Out guide to Dubai, and CitySpots Guide to Cape Town.
She has been an editor on in-flight magazine Upward Curve and P&O Cruises magazine, and her travel features have appeared in UK and international magazines. Having lived in Dubai, Sydney and Cape Town she now divides her time between Hertfordshire and Mallorca. She currently writes about luxury vacation rentals in Mallorca for Oliver's Travels.
