Biography :
After extensive global travels, I left the UK to return to the country I fell in love with–Greece, where I teach English, write and wryly observes that the chaotic nature of my adopted country actually suits my personality very well. A Rough Guide co-author, I have contributed to numerous publications including Apollo Business Class Magazine for Cyprus Airways and Let’s Go for RyanAir, the Daily Telegraph Travel Section and my container ship voyage from Athens to Hong Kong caught the eye of NPR National Radio in the United States, where I was interviewed twice. When not writing, you’ll usually find me drinking coffee or sourcing a new place to eat baklava. I now divide my time between my beloved Greece and my home country of the UK, which I’ve grown to view with new eyes and new appreciation due to my travels. I’ve presented my debut novel Girl Gone Greek – a fictional account of my first year living in a small Greek village – at a Literary Festival in Devon, UK and have also presented and partaken in a book reading on board a Celestyal Cruises Mediterranean themed cruise.
