I travel to 20-30 countries a year, on behalf of The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Conde Nast titles and in-flight magazines - as well as creating radio documentaries for BBC Radio 4 and the World Service - regularly for FOOC, Newshour and Sportshour. I also write regular opinion columns on 'travel' for Telegraph Travel and in 2016 I sailed and cycled halfway around the planet, from China to London, in 133 days - on behalf of the BBC and Telegraph. 2019 will see the release of my new adventure cycling TV show, Earth Cycle, and I'm in the process of working on a new travel book proposal to aim at agents/publishers. In 2017 I was runner up in the AITO Young Travel Writer of the year category, for my account of sailing across the North Pacific (in winter).
