Kate Eshelby has been a freelance travel writer and photographer for over 20 years, with a special focus on lesser-explored destinations, sustainability, and Africa. Her work often delves into cultural stories and nomadic communities, with past experiences ranging from living with the Ba’aka pygmies in the Congo rainforest to joining a salt caravan across the Sahara in Niger, and spending time with the Nenets in Siberia. She contributes to national publications, including The Times, Financial Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, House & Garden, Travel + Leisure, and Condé Nast Traveller.
