Biography

Martin Hesp is a respected journalist and travel writer, known for his evocative storytelling and love for rural landscapes. A longtime contributor to two regional daily newspapers, the Western Morning News and Western Daily Press, he now writes the Hesp Out West double-page food and travel spread called Hesp Out West for the 2 publications every weekend. After 51 years in journalism his work includes books, articles, and TV features, many of which advocate for sustainable tourism and celebrate the great outdoors, making him a trusted voice in travel journalism
