Biography

Martin Dunford is one of the founders of Rough Guides and has worked in travel publishing for most of his working life. He is the author of more than a dozen guidebooks and is the founder of the UK travel and accommodation website and book publisher Cool Places. Martin also works as a freelance writer, writing regularly about the UK among many other destinations, and is a trustee of the Norfolk charity, The Broads Trust. His most recent books include guides to Greenwich and Norwich. He divides his time between London and Norfolk.
