Biography

Writes for national newspapers and magazines and worked regularly for a long period on Daily/Sunday Express travel desk. Specialises in cruising, skiing, North America and music. Has written and/or edited magazine and national newspaper travel guides, ski magazines and music publications. Has also written guidebooks, including (with Guild member Deborah Stone) the coffee table tome The World's Great River Journeys.

Specialist in cruise and ski (sadly, rarely at the same time), notching up well over 100 ski resorts in North America. Has cruised from the South Seas to the North Sea, Caribbean to the Med. Has written for many national newspapers, cruise and ski magazines as well as music magazines, often connected to travel.
