Penny is an Australian travel writer based in Bali. She is a regular contributor to Australia's three major travel publications: Traveller, Escape and Explore; and (having lived in Hong Kong for six years) to various publications in Asia including the South China Morning Post and DestinAsian. She is a known expert on Bali, Hong Kong and many parts of Indonesia and Asia, with an extensive portfolio to show for it. Penny has written six travel books. Her latest, Wilderness, showcases 40 exceptional natural world destinations around the planet. It will be published in 2023 by Hardie Grant in the UK, US and Australia.
