Inspired to pursue a career in travel writing by Chancellor Bill Bryson at Durham University, Robert has covered destinations for Rough Guides since 2017. He’s contributed to the Guardian, Le Monde and Der Spiegal, and has written more than 20 guidebooks, a number of which are housed in the permanent collections of the British Library, and Oxford and Cambridge University libraries.
