Biography
Based in London, I’m a freelance writer specialising in Africa, particularly in wildlife safaris and conservation, for UK press and magazines including The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, BBC Wildlife, Travel Africa, JRNY and Wanderlust among others. I’ve also recently been appointed to my dream role as Conservation Editor in a new position for Travel Africa magazine.In 2025, I won the Africa Tourism Award for Best Travel Writer and I've won or have been a finalist for various media awards over the years. My writing focuses on the intersection of wildlife conservation, communities and sustainable tourism and I love to show how the three elements can thrive together. I’m at my happiest with G&T in hand watching elephants slurping from a waterhole at sunset.
