Biography

An award-winning writer and photographer with 30 years’ experience, William Gray’s work has appeared in publications ranging from The Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph to Wanderlust and Travel Africa magazines. Following a degree in zoology, he has worked for several conservation organisations. Fuelling a passion for wildlife and wild places, his travels have taken him all over the world, from Alaska and Svalbard to the Serengeti and Galapagos Islands. Will has won over 20 awards for journalism, including AITO Travel Writer of Year and BGTW Travel Photographer of the Year.
