Is This a Record?

On 29 July, BGTW Member Doug Goodman, had his 150th consecutive travel feature appear in his local magazine, The Richmond and Twickenham Tribune. Doug has been writing for the magazine for over four years and during this time has produced around 115,000 words with 1,500 of his own pictures published. Topics have ranged from Mongolia to The First Nation people in British Columbia; from exploring the Mekong with hunting tribes people to being incarcerated in a Soviet isolation hospital and from ‘bumping’ into Kim Philby in Moscow, to discovering the story of Lassie the dog in Lyme Regis. Doug became a member of The Guild four years ago, having worked with the BGTW since 1971. Do you know of anyone who can beat Doug?
