Biography
Kate is a freelance travel writer based in Munich. She mainly focuses on Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, and covers food, family travel, city breaks, slow tourism, train travel, hiking, biking, beginner skiing and other outdoor adventures.Her work has been published in The Guardian, Wanderlust, National Geographic, The Sunday Times, Time Out, BBC, The Telegraph, The Independent and more.
Kate is originally from London but has lived in Germany for many years, including Cologne, Berlin and now Bavaria. Alongside travel writing, she manages a blog about the food scene in Munich called Munich Bites.
Kate speaks fluent German and conversational Italian.
